also here..no info about THIS release.
Is full (with plugions also) or the trial (no full) + patch time ??
Edius5 have not much new...the best are the new plugins add!

Edius 4.6 is super...but many options must be add .
All we wait the edius 5 like a big new release...but canopus have made a LITTLE update , and have named NEW RELEASE...
bad is no much news are inside..little new import video HD format (new cameras), vista copatible , and few "candits" (plugins)..that's plugins are double speed IF you have a new good video card support the GPU...or the new one from canopus.

SO..why edius 5 ? only for the plugins...the rest in better stay with the 4.6 !

BAD RELEASE also fopr edius..now for the right addon, whal long we waiting...we must hope in the 6.0 !

Now Dear Jimiz, You don't need to use 3D picture in picture keying effect anymore in edius 5.Because now you can animate layout in edius 5 and that is not resource hungry like using 3D Picture in picture. If you work with uncompressed or DVCPRO HD format then you will realize what a relief that is. Yes, it would have been better if there were more attractive advantages and features were added in edius 5.

La version 5 de Edius est disponible avec une compatibilité 32 & 64 bit sous Windows Vista. On apprend que c'en est fini des distinctions entre Edius "tout court" et Edius Broadcast, il n'y a désormais qu'un seul logiciel prenant en charge les différents formats sous Edius 5

Be sure, before install, that you delete the, old, pavedius.dll from windows/system32.

procoder express is an integrated function now...i like it this way. less windows to open. DVD writing is also integrated as compared to the old version. I've thrashed it with all the plugins available and i can say it works... even with Boris 9. Good work man keep it up. ps. playback times for native HDV have also improved... its about time haha

No i did bavmedia edius 5 not working with my edius nxh card i cant video capture with edius 5 but program is working and i cant capture because not working with edius nx card :(
